Dr. Kemp was raised in a small town in Northern Ontario and attended the University of Toronto where he was the recipient of the Simeon Janes Scholarship for academic excellence. He was subsequently accepted into the School of Optometry at the University of Waterloo where he graduated with the degree of Doctor of Optometry.
He practices General Optometry with a special interest in computer related vision problems, ocular health, and dry eyes.
Originally from Nova Scotia, Dr Eddy completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Dalhousie University, then graduated from the University of Waterloo's Optometry program with honours in 1996. Since that time, she has practiced in Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Zealand, Australia, and now British Columbia, where she has been since 2004. Although most of her time has been spent in private practice, she has also worked in a Laser Refractive Surgery Centre and taught Optometry in New Zealand. Her special interest areas include ocular disease and children's vision.
Dr. Liang graduated from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, after completing a Bachelors degree in Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. As part of her Optometry studies, she completed a three-month internship in Low Vision, and continued her interest in this area by being a Chairperson of the Low Vision Committee for the BC Association of Optometrists. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) and is licensed to practice in British Columbia, Oregon and Washington State.
Dr Liang has given talks about eye care at various community centres, and has appeared on television and radio shows to answer audience questions about eyes and vision. In addition to English, she is also fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese.
Dr. Tiffany Chan holds a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Sciences with Distinction from the University of British Columbia. She earned her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Waterloo, graduating on the Dean's Honours List. Dr. Chan underwent training in Florida at the Eye Associates of Pinellas, where she collaborated with Optometrists and Ophthalmologists to co-manage patients with various complex ocular conditions, including those undergoing cataract, retinal, and glaucoma surgeries.
Her primary care rotation in Calgary involved providing eye care services, such as managing diabetes, dry eyes, and myopia control to a diverse patient demographic. Additionally, Dr. Chan completed a 3-week advanced rotation in the contact lenses and myopia control clinic at the University of Waterloo. During this rotation, she worked with Optometrists specializing in fitting specialty contact lenses for conditions like keratoconus, severe dry eyes, and orthokeratology.
Dr. Chan emphasizes patient education and encourages questions to enhance patients' understanding of their ocular health. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys video editing, spending time outdoors, and traveling.
Dr. Hung was born and raised in Richmond, B.C. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with distinction from the University of British Columbia. Following her undergraduate studies, she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree at SUNY College of Optometry in New York. Dr. Hung further honed her expertise through a post-doctoral residency in Pediatrics, Vision Therapy, and Vision Rehabilitation at Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon, where she also provided vision rehabilitation services at the Vancouver Veteran Affairs Medical Center.
With a passion for vision therapy and child eye care services, Dr. Hung is dedicated to enhancing the visual health of her patients.
In her free time, she enjoys staying active by hiking, practicing pilates, and rock climbing.
